Meet Ryan

LICENSED REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON

Ryan Helkowski joined OFFICIAL after spending seven years at The Related Companies, focusing on high-end mixed-use developments across some of New York City's most notable districts including Hudson Yards and Columbus Circle. With his comprehensive development and transactional experience including the execution of six hospitality projects, leasing over 200,000 square feet of retail space, and selling more than $7 million in condominiums, Ryan harnesses his strengths for OFFICIAL’s luxury residential, retail, and hospitality sales and advisory practice.

Through his interdisciplinary college studies and comprehensive institutional background, Ryan has gained invaluable experience in acquisitions, development, design, project management, legal agreements, underwriting, construction, operations, sales, and asset management. His keen business and entrepreneurial instincts helped raise his understanding of his clients' needs to near-intuitive levels, and he designates communication as his service hallmark. No matter what project Ryan immerses himself in, he cross-leverages his abundant experience and skill set to offer value that transcends standard expectations.

Originally from New York, Ryan fell in love with real estate at a young age, marveling at single-family home constructions and imagining their possibilities. He earned his salesperson license when he was barely old enough to acquire a driver’s license, and he graduated third in his class from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration with minors in real estate and Italian studies. Long-enamored by the luxury lifestyle, from dining to travel to properties, Ryan has injected that passion with the knowledge, resources, and network to benefit his clients immeasurably.

Ryan has lived in New York City since 2015. Outside of real estate, his passions include hospitality, travel, fitness, tennis, family, and writing. Ryan also volunteers for Gabrielle's Angel Foundation, which supports blood cancer research, and the Hetrick-Martin Institute, which serves the LGBTQ community. He also spent several years organizing charity events for the Foundation for Sight and Sound, which helps people with hearing and visual impairments.
